Is Modly free?
Yes. Moderation, team access, command control and all languages are free. AI is free with your own API key. Optional premium features may come later – the core stays free.
Which permissions does the bot need?
Only what the modules you enable require. The invite link is built from those modules, and the dashboard tells you if a permission is missing.
What do you see when I sign in?
Your Discord name, avatar, email and the list of servers you're in – so we can show the ones you manage. We can't read your messages or post as you. Login tokens are stored encrypted.
How does the AI work?
You add an API key from OpenAI, Anthropic (Claude), Google (Gemini) or OpenRouter in the dashboard. Requests go to that provider under your account and limits.
Which languages are supported?
All 31 languages Discord supports. Modly replies in each member's Discord language, and you can pick the dashboard language yourself.
